Why Didn't They Talk About the Benefits of Football?

I talked about the costs of football. Why didn't they talk about the benefits? They asked, doesn't everything come with a risk? Shouldn't people be free to make their own choices? A student who was on the football team stood up and said, i be here if it wasn't for football. I got the sense that a lot of students were thinking about those things too.
