Is There a Canon?
We're so caught up in this fast, oscillating cycle of conversation that we're just getting the sameness. Because there always is a canon. The question is like, are you in the canon of what everyone's talking about now? And what we've developed over centuries and centuries? And actually the human ability to filter what's best and what's worth keeping. i think this is one of the great gifts of the jewish tradition, the ability of rabbis to debate and decide what are we going to keep in the ken and what aren't we going tokeep.
