The Importance of Early Intervention
There have been longitudinal studies and they find that kids who have the greatest facility at self-control at ages four and five do much better in their early 30s. For every one dollar we invest in high quality intervention in preschool kids there's a return of seven dollars on that investment by the time the individual is 30 years of age. That's a big ROI and I think it's penny wise and pound foolish for our culture not to embrace this in it's really important.
