Mew ford quit his job to go sailing in the dominican republic. He met an australian man who was stranded after being swindled by a boat charter company. The pair became friends and he lived on Mew's sailboat with him while he went home at christmas. In return, mew had to teach him how to sail - which is when he learned about 'travellers' under the boom that move sails around.
