The Renaissance in Philosophy
The philosophy of the renaissance is almost entirely overlooked. It provides a set of tools with which philosophers can engage with a much broader range of questions in psychology and even metaphysics. A lot of philosophy in th renaissance takes place within the framework of competing catical traditions. The best ways of looking at renacene philosophy is as equipping the discipline with tools that it can use to do other things later.
