Lem Is a Poet and Broadcaster
Lem was born in a mother and children's home to an Ethiopian lady. Between the ages of 12 and 17, he ended up in four different children's homes. He had no surrogate family, no birth family. And so memories became very, very slippery and sort of unformed. It left him a very, very confused young man.
