What Has Happened to Cast Classes?
For many decades after independence, cast was a mobilizing force. Now we are at an interesting inflection point where the energies of the social movement have disappeared. B s p, once it came to power, the social movement kind of dissipated under it. But also the agglomerative potential of a focal point has disappeared and now the demand for reservation is demand for subdivision.
