Black Death in the Police Department

The officers that killed Tyree were part of a special unit called the Scorpion unit in the Memphis PD. This was created by the black woman police chief and I want to say 2021. And it's like a lot of units, a lot of major cities have these like special forces units that are basically allowed to over police hotspot areas in cities mostly black and brown. They claim that by giving these forces this special leeway, they can better just get crime right away. But here's the thing about the police state: repainting the walls of a house does not change the foundation the house was built on. It never will.
