How to Limit Facebook and Instagram's Ability to Profit Off of Targeted Advertising
I think the FTC is trying to be a bit more creative about how to limit Facebook and Instagram's ability to profit off of targeted advertising towards teens. I don't know that a kid would fully get on board with the idea that you're not ready to use any social media at all. It does create a sense of distrust between generations because you could make the argument as a parent that smoking is inherently bad.
