The Story of Lewis Ling
Lewis Ling was one of seven men charged with murder in the late 1800s. They were accused of throwing a bomb at Haymarket Square, but there wasn't any evidence they had done it. One man blew off his jaw and wrote "With his blood, he writes in the wall, a ray for anarchy" The six others got pardoned by posthumously; Emma Goldman's tombstone dates back to 1881.
