Movie Review - Is This Really a Cartoon?
I feel like he's bringing in strategies from other forms that aren't like the big Hollywood summer blockbuster and it just feels out of place at times. I do wonder if the sort of caricature feeling that I get from some of these characters comes from a lack of any hint of any backstory whatsoever. If you were able to really like even spend one more scene with any of these characters there would be a way to potentially visually signal or hint in dialogue about where in the hell they came from how did they get to Pandora why do they care. There is something like when we first got here we were setting up our camp and we had a run in with the Navi but my commanding officer was killed
