When i was around ten, i went on a school trip to hazard which sounds like it could be fairly similar to safety towna hazard alley. They even had phone boxes in which you would go to phone the police if a crime went down. This resulted in multiple atic situations being acted out using legit children. The most dramatic was when we were all ushered into a house before it started filling with smoke. This was a lesson in fire safety in which they convince us an old man was upstairs in the fake burning down house. And if you forgot this when you had called the police, it was assumed that he had burnt alive. I don't know if this accurately conveys the fever dream
