The Mission of Landsat
Lanset is our longest live land remosensing system in the world. We now have a 50 year archive of earth land areas consisting of some nine million images. Land sad imagery around the world is used to understand how land environments are changing. And then, hopefully, too, allow better management of our land environment through time.
