How Does the Carbon Offset Market Work?
Sally Kohn: Polluting less is just not a solution that we're capable of. She says when you offset, you could do that yourself but more likely you're actually putting money in somebody else's hands where they can conserve and create limitless amounts of positive for the planet. Kohn: The way it typically works is someone will identify this opportunity to capture methane from landfills then sell them as offsets.
