The idea is that all matter has this intrinsic physical aspect, the trinsic phenomenal aspect to it. The only conception we have of the intrinsic nature of things is what it's like to be us. And so maybe it's the same for an electron - with its own sort of private, kind of subjective e nature. Our phenomenality is somehow a construction from the phenomenality of all of the molecules that compose our brains. You put them together and you get consciousness of the whole brain.
