The Cognitive Load of Learning a New System

My sense is that we've got a lot of work to do on onboarding. And that's one of the challenges, as you described in the beginning of the cognitive load of learning a new system. Is it possible to have a massively multiplayer card game where the whole world could participate in an evolutionary democracy? I don't know, that might be pushing the idea a bit too far. We really like this idea of playing together to build the rapport and the intimacy which would then allow people to do the hard serious work with that communal emotional foundation.
