The Historical Critical Method of Looking at the Bible
The original old testament, as we'll call it here, is written in hebrew. The new testament was written in greek. Everything we have is a copy of a copy. On top of the translation issues, there's also the transcription and rewriting isses. And i could easily just kind of jump from one verse in one book to a completely different verse in a different book. If there were any perceived conflicts, that was on me to figure out how to reconcile them.
