The outposts can have this sort of like you know instant functionality right. I think most DeFi activity will happen synchronously in in a single environment in a single chain especially for advanced DeFi use cases. There's going to be more and more apps that sit on the outpost and connect to these DeFi chains by IBC, so I don't see how it is leveraging IBC just because they're being built themselves. Osmosis has their own injective neutron system which allows them to swap smart contract state with each other without having to touch one another at all.
