Wisdom for Students Thinking About Doing a PhD

Don't over plan. Don't begin something like that unless you truly have a passion for the subject matter and you want to work phenomenally hard. I always tend to advise people kind of, I suppose, positively about PhDs as well. For me, I did it when I was 23, so a very different part of one's life,. Obviously, less family considerations, things like that. It's a difficult task, but it's a highly rewarding task. And it's like nothing else you'll do in your life. But it is not something to take on lightly.
