The Power of Jesus Word in the Gospel of John
In the gospel of john, we see a specific focus upon jesus engagement with individuals. Jesus performs a strange action on this blind man and then instructs him to go and wash in the pool of salom. In both cases, a healing pool is part of the story. The paw of the sign is the power of jesus word but as people believe jesus words, these signs are fulfilled for them.
