i think we can do more than one thing as a society. i'm very grateful for the people who are donating and working toward alleviating forms of human sufferng. I think it's also an important piece of moral progress to alleviate forms of animal suffering. D and you know, perhaps the abolition analogy is interesting here. With the early british abolition movement, a lot of the same people who were involved in founding that movement, like will and wilberforce, were also involved in founding the movement for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
