Are Humans Better Than Our Current Culture?
I think it could go either way, honestly. But I think that if one thing in history is taught us is that we're capable of horrific things, but we're also capable of pulling ourselves together and getting better over time. That's what I really hope is that not only can we learn from the mistakes of our past, but that will continue to learn from any mistakes that we will inevitably make in the future in space. And number two, this might be the optimist in me again, but humans are better than our current culture assumes when it comes to a dangerous and risky environment.
