Empathy seems to be a powerful tool for negotiators, but it's hard to get right. One of the things i've seen in those suicide negotiations is that there is a point where the negotiator has sort of built up, or at least the they sort of show this by what they do. And no, that's not how i feel. But another example? Is anybody who's being tritanized trying to get someone to talk about any thing you want them to say? I don't even ask you to tell me why you're doing something  but just let us know if we can help with anything.
