The film is based on the book "Nausica" by Cario eustand. It's about a girl who lives in an apocalyptic fungus whirledrih er toii, very like literally toi a toic a. The song came out at her fifteenth birthday and it was one of her favorite songs. But she couldn't get the rights because they couldn't track down the people who own the rights. She says there are no pop music tracks in the film but some were used for inspiration.
