The Importance of Informed Consent in the Abortion Debate
On May 1st of this year, our Sunday visitor published an article that you wrote titled Buyer Beware, Women's Safety is a key oversight in the abortion debate. Elizabeth: "I was really frustrated with the inability of people on either side of the abortion divide to speak to one another" She says pro-abortion supporters were so concerned about women experiencing ectopic pregnancies and yet they're sort of reflexively supporting a drug in which women are not even screened for ectopic pregnancies. And I think that latter point is something that could be common ground for those even who have a different position than we do about abortion if they approach it with intellectual honesty.
