The Kingdom of God
In Luke 22, Jesus says he has conferred on you a kingdom. He is talking about your participation in the ascension of Christ. Paul puts it quite succinctly in Ephesians 2: God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms. Because we are united with Christ, we have ascended to the heavenlies just as Jesus has. The principle is that of our union with Christ.
