The seam on a cricket ball is a, if you imagine two semicircles brought together, is a raised seam. And the bowler will bowl it out the back of their hand, not forward down the seam. So there really is a talent. The slower spin bowlers, it will come to you coming from right to left. When it hits the ground, it will almost do a 45 degree cut across you and confuse the hell out of you. If they spin it really, really fast. Absolutely. They are some real spin demons out there.
