I hate surveys myself and so I don't want to ask anyone else to fill them out but yes I certainly have really gone that route of Athens doing surveys or DMs. But it can certainly be valuable for an artist like me who loves the face-to-face interaction with people in person. If you're an artist out there and you don't have a studio you can also maybe you do art fairs or you interact with the public in some way and you this is where you find out who your people are. There's so many different ways to see and learn more about your your people but I think when you make a point of interacting with them in person you couldn't really learn
