Virtual Power Plants - What's the Difference?
I think an interesting area in, i don't know what to call it, alternative inferstructure. Great example, virtual power plants. So the recent almost brown outs, or blackouts, in california were partially avoided by software companies who have some degree of control over assets and households or small businesses. And we're able to flip them off, you know, refrigerators, a cs turn them down tens of thousands at a time to help avert these crises.
