Is Proof of Work More Tax Efficient Than Proof of Stake?
John Defterios: I think this is really a re-articulation. The main difference that is being brought to the table here is the difference between proof of work and proof of stake. When you issue Ether, there is no cell pressure. There's no net cell pressure. What you're saying is that it's not a cost because we're transferring wealth from non-stakers to stakers. But they do mechanically make a difference for tax efficiency in some cases. It does matter if you're actually looking at these things as store of value or capital asset.
