The Crucifixion of Luther
Luther emerges from what are the most important points of continuity let's start with that with his medieval heritage and then maybe we'll talk about discontinuity where does he rupture. Luther is very much saying if God wills to justify someone then God's going to do that and he doesn't need to use these very complex intermediate schemes buying it's stronger in Calvin I think that that with Calvin you find this given a much higher profile than there is in Luther.
