Is There a Choice Between Studying and Going Back Home?
"It's either I do this or if I don't do it, I'm going to go back home and do nothing," Natsuki says. "I had to find ways while I'm on campus ... How do I make sure that I understand?" she asks. In the early days of South Africa's post-apartheid transformation, there was no choice for her but to study. She attended a tutor class with Afrikaans students in order to learn more about their culture. 'This is like, you can see the opportunity... But you can see that it can snap away'
