Roxanne Jones: I just want to like roll back to Descartes a little bit and kind of walk through his method. His goal was to find this rational foundation, you know a firm foundation not on Christ the solid rock but rather on his own search and rationality something that he was hoping would be common to all people. And his method his process for doing that was to doubt everything. He strips away all these levels of uncertainty until he comes to this one place that says well, the only thing that I can't doubt is my own process of doubting.
