The Future of Inflation

Most cosmologists are pretty convinced that inflation or something very much like it took place in our early universe. There are prominent naysayers and opponents to this idea, but it's definitely the leading hypothesis for our very early universe. We have ideas for deploying space-based gravitational wave detectors like LISA. This is a name of a prominent idea that might be able to detect gravitational waves from the early universe.
