If string theory is correct then it's like plausible. We've kind of like managed to jump the chasm to some extent, although we don't know what string theory is right. There is a sense in which the correct explanation for why like electrons are this massive is just like they are or there are many different configurations and we find ourselves in this one. And the philosophical objection is obviously we don't get to choose the universe we live in.
