Toll-Baptan for Heart Failure?
A thiazide will actually clear more sodium than a loop does, which is helpful in hypernatrimia. If it's SIIDH, maybe a little bit of lysix, but that really comes down to fluid restriction. I remember years ago when I was a nurse in the cardiac ICU, I gave a patient toll-baptan for hyponatrimia. It's less common in the liver transplant world because baptans have been associated with patectoxicity.
