A lot of people make their choices based off tax implications first as opposed to what their investment goal is or what this could actually do for their financial future. Having all your money in Apple is not beneficial to your net worth. So diversification by industry, by asset mix and by stock and also in fixed income, you have to diversify as well. And it's very important to dissect what's in there because a lot of clients are unaware what they own.
