Exploring My Strange Bible is Tim Mackie's new podcast. This week he explores the book of Daniel in the Hebrew Scriptures, the Old Testament. The book tells a story about Israelites who were taken captive when Babylon came and attacked Jerusalem. For most people, what happens for Daniel is that the dominant culture, the language, the value system are all working against an attempt to maintain faith and hope in God.
