Shame is that sort of pervasive feeling that I'm not good enough for whatever I'm doing at any given moment. The shame comes from, well, this happened and it was my fault. It's always something that I did wrong. Most people are probably not thinking about it at any given time except me. But that doesn't change the fact that it's very real to my lived experience.
