Troponin can be elevated due to pericarditis or miocarditus, and of course, it can be elevated from a c s. The main distinction is the the time course. Unless i there's some very unusual circumstance wher the patient is just developing in front of your eyes, a pericardial inflammation. If you do serial troponens, and the troponen is climbing, then you have to be really careful that that may be my cardila schemia.
