The drama triangle gives a lot of insight into manipulative behavior. The persecutor, the person who wants to manipulate, moves back and forth on the triangle between victim and persecutor just to keep you off balance. When you start seeing persecuting behavior, that's a hallmark of the manipulative predatory human being. And what you want to do is to demonstrate emotional intelligence, empathy and self-awareness by understanding that you're not the right choice now for a number of different reasons.
