Liz Truss was forced to acknowledge that she had got things badly wrong in her budget. While doubling down on its most politically contentious measure. At one point, she appeared to throw her close friend and Chancellor, Quasi Quarting, under the bus for that unpopular decision. Even better than all of that was sitting off camera, just a few metres away from the Prime Minister, former cabinet colleague Michael Gove. To have as your principal decision, cutting text for the wealthiest is a display of the wrong values.
