How Perceptions Affect Advanced Care Planning

On average black Americans overestimate the longevity. People who have no idea how long they're going to live if they can't envision their health care future those are the people who are least likely to make plans. Those who don't want to think about death may actually have the worst deaths because they're not taking that step to make plans to increase their comfort at the end of life.
