The Effects of Clicking on Tomato Plants

Tomato plants click when they're distressed, kind of like the way an animal vocalizes when distressed. The rate of clicking was very closely correlated with the rate of transpiration. You would hear them if they weren't so incredibly high and the clicks don't come at regular or random intervals.
