This is so profoundly stupid that I don't even know what to say about it. Why stop at the parents? There's near 100% probability that if you went back enough generations, every single one of their employees have ancestors who said something that was racist. But really the short lesson here for me is I don't care about the backstory. I care about what Connor Daly did and it turns out Connor Daly didn't do a thing. Therefore Connor Daly shouldn't be punished. And this line of reasoning will be over the long haul if we keep walking down this road.
