The False Positives Are a Big Problem, Right?
I haven't seen any news or announcements about change in fta policy on saying, lak, we're going to devote more resources to expedite approval or authorization of these dests. False positives only matter when the disease prevalence is really low. And you can address the false positives through serial testing. You might have one test that's a false positive, but then if you retest, the likelihood that both tests are false positives is very low.
