Freud's Uses of the Notion of Drive
I really thought that was very insightful, the way that you bring to the fore something that might get lost and a little bit in translation when we're reading. And I will say it's interesting that you show the continuity or the resonance between some of Freud's language about the drive and Marx's uses of the notions of drive. So even if we may know a little bit about Stricke's translation of Trieve as instinct with its problematic history, we may be a little bit less aware of Marx's use of the notion of drive.
