Mantis Draft - A Way to Throw Caution to the Wind
Random draft was a way to sort of completely throw caution to the wind and come up with crazy maps that led to way more interesting decisions. Mantis build is the half measure where it's like, oh, I don't want an asteroid field on my path to Mackatol Rex. So you in all of these build methods, you don't get to place tiles anywhere on the map. You are only placing them in your slice. Milty draft opened up what can be put together which then suddenly opens up how much finesse can go into tiles. There were so many different tiles that were just like well, well, this can only go for a couple of things but still balanced out
