Andrew Sullivan is a British-American political commentator and author. A former editor of The New Republic, he is the author or editor of six books. He started a political blog, The Daily Dish, in 2000, and eventually moved his blog to platforms such as Time, The Atlantic and The Daily Beast. After a spell at New York magazine, he ultimately launched his Substack newsletter, The Weekly Dish, in July 2020:
