Marriage Is Good at Teaching Us About Who We Really Are
We're very good at creating a persona right away. We want to be seen by others in a way we imagine is more acceptable than the reality of who we in fact are. And then when our spouse doesn't buy into it, or other people, we think they're the problem and try to make them pay for not seeing us that way. So this desire in us makes it really difficult for us to recognize that we are capable of good, but we are also able of evil. A again, that's where the evil thrives when we talk about natural man.
